Emmaus is a charity set up to help homeless people in Colchester. Emmaus dont just provide a bed for a night but skills and training to help get more people off the streets. Part of this is to run a furniture rehabilitation program, where people are trained to fix up old pieces of furniture donated to the charity then sold in their store on the high street. Refurbished bikes changing lives in Africa – Re-Cyle is an amazing charity in Colchester which refurbishes donated bikes and either sells them back to the public or transports the to Africa to help people get access to clean water! So far Re-Cyle has sent 40,000 bikes to Africa, what better cause rather then to shell out hundreds on an overpriced new bicycle! Why not equip that new bike with environmentally friendly lighting! Dynamo Bike Lights . Fed up of paying for batteries to light your way? Why not use man power!!
